Senior Financial Accountant- Insurance Company- Fenchurch Street area

Your new company
This is a Global reinsurance company who provide insurance companies with innovative solutions in areas related to risk in Health and Life insurance. They are one of the largest Reinsurance services in the world and are now recruiting within their London based service centre for a finance professional.

Your new role
This role will sit within a finance function of 10- and more specifically within the smaller financial reporting team. Working closely with the head of financial reporting working on local and group accounts.
Duties will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L analysis
• Monthly local reporting
• Quarterly reporting
• IFRS reporting
• Solvency II reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Financial Accountant with previous experience reporting to IFRS and/or Solvency II standards. You will ideally have experience working for or a good understanding of the financial services sector.
This role will involve liaising with overseas offices particularly a lot of contact with France and so French language skills would be a huge advantage but by no means essential.

You will have a good attitude towards work and will ideally be able to provide input towards processes and procedures.
