You will be providing perspective to the business on the issues and insights that the business does not know it needs to know... Intriguing isn't it? Analytics are a small but powerful business function, acting as the formidable champions of business partnering across Lyle & Scott. It goes without saying that the role will require an individual who is both a fan & a proficient user of Microsoft Excel, as well as a basic knowledge of other data platforms such as PowerBI & Tableau... if this is not you, thank you for your time Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To provide structured information on customer & market insights to the business to derive competitive advantage from the data available in the market and on its existing and potential customers/markets To be the commercial and consumer conscience for the business; pioneering business partnering with the other directorates, providing challenge and focus on the short, medium and long term commercial well-being of the company Working with external suppliers such as Kantar Worldpanel & Statista to understand how the market is performing to feed back to all areas of the business To provide seasonal analysis to the wholesale sales team, supporting the sales managers for their buying season appointments Deliver results with a high degree of ethics, Integrity and passion ensuring compliance and transparency to business policies Supports the business by acting as a trusted advisor in strategic sourcing initiatives and reporting on findings as required Desirable experience/qualifications: Educated to Degree level or higher 1 Years' experience working in a Fashion Head office in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Works - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as well as other database programs such as PowerBI & Tableau Strong knowledge of the menswear clothing industry and where the industry is going both online & in-store Multi-dimensional thinker & proactive approach Personality and culture fit is something which is extremely important to us as a company, so please list all exciting skills in your application.
