Our Client is a leading Travel Company based in the heart of the West End. We are looking for a Credit Controller to join their existing finance and accounts team. The primary function of the Credit Controller will be to coordinate the debts of existing creditors and deciding whether to allow credit. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager and Company FD, the successful candidate will handle the collection of company debts and resolution of account queries as well as building and maintaining close links with all customers to ensure the smooth running of accounts and encourage timely recovery of payments. Duties and responsibilities include checking customer credit ratings/credit checks before opening client accounts as well as timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments. You will resolve both internal and external queries around outstanding invoices in a timely manner whilst also posting and allocating daily credit card receipts to the accounting system. The role will also involve Month End procedure and sending out Monthly statements via systems and manual process as well as providing support to the year end statutory audit. You will have the ability to establish and maintain good client relationships as well as the ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail. We are looking for someone with prior accounting systems experience and ideally 1-2 years experience working in a similar role.
