Brewster Partners are working with a Private Equity backed manufacturing business in West Yorkshire to appoint a Group Finance Director. The Group Finance Director will be a valuable member of the Group Board Structure and will partner closely with Managing Director to spearhead a growth strategy in a business with significant expansion opportunities. The main responsibilities for this role include: Work with the Board and MD to propose a financial and commercial strategy for the business Contributing to the monthly board meetings to ensure that performance to current strategies is adhered to and new opportunities are maximised Leading a strong finance team to ensure that all aspects of the monthly management accounts, statutory reporting and tax computations are made Implementing and managing tight financial controls Developing strong relationships with the bank and PE house Daily review of working capital position and group treasury matters Assessment of M&A opportunities including necessary due diligence Leadership of the finance and back office function The candidate required for this role will require the following background and experience Qualified finance leader - ideally ACA from a Big 4 background Considerable experience of working within a PE backed business as a Finance Director or CFO is essential Experience of dealing with Corporate Finance / M&A mattersIf you feel you have the required skill set and experience, please apply ASAP.
