A niche FMCG business with operations in multiple international markets has a newly created role for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the UK & Europe finance team in Croydon. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a CIMA or ACCA finalist or newly qualified accountant with excellent commercial acumen to directly influence the strategic decision making processes of a market leader. Duties of the role include: Providing accurate and insightful analysis of product and customer profitability Supporting the customer account managers with preparation of client bids Monthly preparation, analysis and commentary on customer P&L Supporting the wider finance team with the delivery of accurate and timely monthly management reporting Ongoing analysis and modelling of commercial agreements The role is ideally suited for a CIMA or ACCA trained accountant who is approaching the end of their studies or has recently qualified, and who has the personality, commercial acumen and gravitas to work with senior internal and external non-finance colleagues. You'll need to demonstrate your ability to make complex financial information accessible to a wide audience, along with a high attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
