Practice Accountant AAT Level 4 Qualified Accountant Bridgwater HRGO are working on behalf of a leading accountancy firm in Bridgwater, whose expertise spread across the South West. The applicant must hold sufficient practice experience to hit the ground running with a portfolio of between 150200 clients. The core working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am 5.00pm however there is some flexibility available for the right person. The perfect candidate will have previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies as well as unincorporated businesses, have the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and uphold the current high standards of practice by delivering an excellent service to all clients. The type of accountant we are looking for will have the ability to prioritise your own workload, meet deadlines, remain calm under pressure and still maintain a confident and analytical approach. Associated Duties include, but not limited to; - Preparing financial statements - Preparation of personal & corporate tax returns. - Filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents. - Ensuring all client records are kept up to date. - Overseeing quarterly VAT returns. - Comply with all policies and procedures. - Uphold internal and company ethical standards. - General admin duties associated with this type of accountant position. - Familiarity with Sage, VT and BTC, Quickbooks is also required.
