UNIQUE GROWTH OPPORTUNITY "Controlling growth, optimising opportunity and maximising returns" Competitive Package Options Potential Our client, TrueSpeed Communications Limited (www.truespeed.com), is dynamic and progressive, delivering GigaBit Broadband networks in the South West of England. They are not only based in the South West but are actively investing in the South West's future by delivering affordable Fibre-to-the Property (FTTP) networks. Customers are currently able to take products from 100mb/s to 10Gb/s. They are liquid and well capitalised via a substantial investment from a major infrastructure investment fund. Since inception in 2014, their continued success has arisen from the creation of a strong brand, technical excellence, a significant investment in company infrastructure and support from an excellent supplier chain. This has allowed the company to meet its customers' objectives by supplying a range of services fit for purpose, at a demonstrable quality standard using the best technology available. TrueSpeed were recently awarded the "Best Rural Internet Service Provider" 2019 award by ISPA. Reporting to the CEO and the Board, the role is to build a "fit for growth" finance function across the disparate range of business activities without diluting flair. The remit is to develop a cohesive MI and financial reporting function at the hub that gives timely, accurate and commercially meaningful support to the business's leadership, whilst controlling cash, costs, pricing and margin, etc. and critically managing the working capital and funding needs of the company. The requirement is to be the CEO's foil, to support decision-making with critical analysis, to liaise with advisers and bankers, to evaluate and enumerate business plans as well as major contract opportunities etc. You will be integral to the strategic planning and decision making processes surrounding investment and business expansion decisions. You will ensure effective and efficient systems are in place to produce management information, analysis and reports. There is a need to proactively engage management acrossthe business, monitoring key drivers and KPI's, improving efficiency and protecting/maintaining margin. Business planning and budgetary control is key in addition to the monitoring of performance trends and commercial analysis - it is vital that the Executive Team of this fastmoving and developing businessare provided with strong controls and robust reporting. Technical capability is a given and commercial acumen is the key. Quality is the essential criteria - You are a graduate qualified accountant. You are proactive and incisive, highly professional with strong gravitas and presence, well versed in managing complex and demanding stakeholders. Key is the ability to flourish in a tight knit, entrepreneurial management team who are not afraid of getting their hands dirty at the coal face.
