Credit Risk Analyst To support the Credit Risk Manager and wider team, by taking some ownership of the day to day management of our internal credit evaluation system. Ensuring that the data feed we receive is analysed and accurate before this is uploaded into the system. This information will enhance internal risk systems and provide early risk signals, thus reducing bad debts and maximizing sales. Effectively manage credit risk across the business's entire portfolio of customers in the UK and across Europe. Anticipate credit issues before they arise and implement solutions to address them while managing risk. Manage our internal credit evaluation system, ensuring that financial information is accurate and qualitative data is relevant (semi- automated function). Daily interaction with AR/Credit Team to accurately update information. Manage credit risk across a portfolio of more than 800 customers in a business experiencing significant growth and annual revenues of more than £3 billion. Be confident in making "own risk" credit decisions. Prepare detailed analysis of the customers' business and financials to support such decisions Evaluate and recommend system changes to increase risk monitoring. Support Credit Risk Management area with ad-hoc reporting Provide reports to senior management analysing market economic conditions and trends, customer health profiles etc. Recommend appropriate action and implement. Skills and experience: Quick learner of IT Systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office & strong Excel skills. Experience of SAP. Excellent report writing skills. Credit background. Underwriting experience in the B2B Sector is essential with a good understanding of risk. Ability to work in a vibrant, faced past environment. Comfortable working under pressure and adaptable to changing requirements Excellent communications skills, comfortable discussing issues with Senior Management. Proactive approach - tackles issues before they arise.
