Finance Manager Belfast, Co. Antrim The Company Supporting businesses across the UK and Ireland, our client is a leading telecommunications provider with a 20 year success story. Their group includes two core companies: a traditional engineering-led telephone service provider and an R&D software business that has developed its own VoIP platform for businesses. The software platform has finished its first phase of development and has started to export its software initially to GB and expanding quickly to other international markets Our client is now looking for a strategic and commercially minded Finance Manager to join them and maintain the group's financial discipline as they expand rapidly abroad. The Role As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Finance function and ensure the group's ongoing financial health as they expand. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee a team of four and focus on the commercial and funding requirements of the business. Your other duties will include: - Taking responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, as well as annual budgets and rolling forecasts - Assessing contracts - Cashflow and cost management - Running the company payroll - Acting as the Company Secretary - Submitting grant applications and interacting with state agencies About You To be considered as a Finance Manager, you will need: - To be a qualified accountant with a minimum of three years' experience - Experience of managing and developing teams - Previous experience of developing and implementing systems and controls - A high level of IT literacy, including knowledge of Sage Accounting and standard Microsoft applications Our client would like to hear from you if you've held the position of Finance Controller, Financial Controller, Finance Operations Manager, Financial Manager, Accountant, Qualified Accountant or Management Accountant.
