Your opportunity Shaping and delivering Performance Management and Reward for our Partners. The primary purpose of the Partner Matters function is to deliver a differentiated and integrated experience to all our partners, from the point they become partners in the firm, to the time they retire from the partnership. It includes all the key talent, HR and finance aspects of partnership. Performance Management and Remuneration is a critical aspect of the Partner Lifecycle. This role is a core part of driving the philosophy, process and delivery of performance management across the partner population, working closely with key business stakeholders, including our executive group. Your role You will be involved in determining and executing our ambitions for partner performance management and making sure they integrate seamlessly into our reward cycles. This will include planning, operation and enhancement of existing approaches for our Equity Partners, and liaising with our HR teams with regards to our Partners. In FY20 and FY21, we are also undertaking work to refresh our Partner Model (as it relates to Performance Management, the application of the Unit Model, career tracks and policies). You will be a key part of this work, taking part in the conversations to determine the scale and scope of change and then leading on elements of its implementation. Some key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Involvement in the refresh of the Partner Model, working closely with key stakeholders in the business and HR to ensure changes recommended will deliver benefit to our partners and have positive impact for the business. Lead on the delivery of the performance management process for all partners, delivering its requirements and ensuring changes that are recommended as a result of the overall Partner Model refreshed are planned for and implemented appropriately. This will include: Planning for and operating the Equity Partner performance management approach for FY20 onwards, reflecting any changes that have been agreed as part of the Partner Model redesign. Liaising with HR regarding the operation of Partner reward and the intersection with this team and its activities. Reviewing and refreshing all performance management materials and communications, including partner intranet and partner helpdesk. Liaising with other key parties from around the Deloitte network who interact with our performance management approach (Global, DTTL, NSE LCSP programme) Linking into the partner development experts in the firm wide learning team to ensure there is a clear connection between the performance management approach and development. Participating in the NSE working group regarding Partner Performance Management and reward, ensuring that the UK geography is aligned with the other geographies across NSE and are able to share and learn from best practices and approaches. Leading on the refresh of all Equity Partner HR policies (including Paternity, Maternity, Parents and Carers leave, Sabbaticals etc.) As a result, this is a terrific opportunity to gain a broad range of operationally critical experience at a time of change, working in a high performing team, with the Firm's most senior people. Location:
London with occasional domestic travel. A level of overtime will be required during peak periods (May/June). Work pattern: This is a full-time opportunity, however, the team members works in a variety of agile working patterns. We would be delighted to discuss this openly and adapt if possible.
