Financial Accountant Salford Quays £35,000 - £40,000 comprehensive benefits scheme We are hiring a Financial Accountant on behalf of our client and specifically looking for someone on the way up the career ladder looking to learn from a Group Finance Director. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills and a proactive approach to the reporting elements of the role. The Financial Accountant will report to the Group Finance Director and will undertake a varied role across a number of Group businesses. This is an ideal role for someone looking to move out of an Accountancy Practice into a Commercial organisation or for someone who works in industry but wants to gain exposure to a group reporting structure. The Core Activities: Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for Holding Company and some Group businesses Preparation of Monthly & Yearly Consolidated Group Accounts Group Forecast & Budget preparation Development & preparation of Group KPI's Preparation of Year end files for Audit and liaise with external auditors Control of Intercompany Accounts & balances Assist with Corporation Tax planning and compliance Support Group Treasury function & payroll function Company Secretarial Support Preparation of VAT returns, compliance, including review of returns, advice and guidance to the business Able to undertake Acquisition due diligence work Package: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum BUPA Healthcare 22 days holiday rising to 25 Pension scheme Death in service insurance 4 X salary Free Parking (Salford Quays) Childcare Scheme On Site Gym Please contact Cameron Roberts at Platinum Recruitment for the full job brief;
