We're currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our Nottingham based HD Decisions team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to gain further experience and broaden their career within a FTSE 50, market leading organisation. The role Our Business Analysts aren't your typical BA roles, they get involved in a multitude of tasks across the HD business. You can expect to be responsible for owning and developing products with major clients (typically in the financial services industry). You will be the go-to person for insights on the performance of core services for our customers, including creating presentations and delivering the results. You will be required to structure and complete ad-hoc analysis. You will be responsible for scoping business requirements of technical change and take ownership for managing client relationships. You will have the opportunity to shape the success of the business area by training and mentoring our pool of graduate business analysts. Could this be the role for you? We're looking for someone who has previous experience in a Business Analyst role, it is essential that you are to demonstrate computer based skills such as SAS, SQL and/or Excel. We would like someone who has a genuine interest in data and has a strong ability for analytical problem solving. You'll have relevant university degree, ideally in a highly analytical/numerical subject or equivalent experience. We want someone that is a team player, has a passion for sharing new ideas and joins in. You'll succeed in this role by demonstrating the agility to respond in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional demeanour under pressure and have excellent communication skills with an ability to work to your own initiative and challenge stakeholders.
