We are currently supporting a PLC in Nottingham in their search for a Head of Commercial Finance to help drive, support and lead their B2B business with sales revenue generation. The Head of Commercial Finance will report to the UK FD but the business is looking for an individual with the capability to step up to Director level over the next 18-24 months. The business is keen to ensure continued progression within the team and there is also a desire to build a pipeline of talent in Finance. As Head of Commercial Finance you'll be tasked with leading the revenue strategy, keeping control of relevant costs and providing leadership to your team enabling them to deliver clear, accurate and concise insight across their stakeholders (Commercial Director, Sales Director and Director of FP&A). People leadership is a key part of this role and, you'll be responsible for the development of a small team of analysts & Business partners. You'll develop your current team as well as build a future finance talent pipeline. The culture is fantastic. They work hard but they work as a team and there is an extremely collaborative approach. The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant, ( ACA/ACCA/ACMA ) or in a large blue chip/UK plc with strong post-qualified experience in Business Partner/ Commercial finance roles. Experience in the Professional services, Technology or Software sector's would be an advantage but not a prerequisite for the role.
