SF Recruitment are seeking an ambitious Part Qualified Accountant to join a fast paced, dynamic and innovative business based in Nottingham City Centre Our client a market leader in its sector require an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Management Accountant in their newly refurbished open office with a number of duties including: - Management accounts including P&L's, Cash positions, Balance sheets - Preparing month end schedules / journals by the required deadlines such as Payrolls, Accruals and Prepayments. - Bank Reconciliations - Analysis of company expenditure - Weekly/Mid-week Progress report of the companies GP - Uploading payments and payrolls to the bank after checking - Calculating bonus on multiple schemes - Cash flows / Forecasts - Budget preparation - VAT Returns As the ideal candidate you will be: - AAT Qualifed/ Hold a Finance and Accountancy Degree - Studying or looking to study towards your ACCA/CIMA (or the equivalent) - A minimum of 12 months working in a similar position - Have a working knowledge of Excel using Pivot Tables and VLookups - Working Knowledge of Sage is beneficial but not essential In return our client is looking at offering a fantastic remuneration package, including 24 holiday days Bank Holidays, your birthday off, annual bonus scheme, full financial study support with exam leave, employee discount schemes, cycle to work scheme and much more Our client is looking for the chosen candidate to start as soon as possible so please apply now for immediate consideration
