• Responsible for developing & monitoring financials supporting our business strategy
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analyzing internal and external financial reports
• Responsible for activities including managing risks and opportunities, monitoring the organization's revenue and expenses while considering macro-economic factorsResponsibilities
• Plays a leading role in partnering with business units, regions, business partners and/or corporate to manage major aspects of financial reporting (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, target setting)
• Communicates the key drivers behind the budget and forecast, linking the financial performance to strategy; develops quarterly operating reviews and CEO decks and communicates results to leadership
• Advises group/business unit leadership on external factors that affect business performances, leveraging subject matter expertise [SME] of budgeting, long range planning [LRP] and forecasting of overall business segments and divisions
• Embodies the Leading Beyond Finance [LBF] initiative by playing a leading role in partnering with business units, regions, business partners and/or corporate to develop strategies and identify revenue opportunities
• Works cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment with targets; performs variance analysis to deliver and articulate arguments in an effective manner
• Supporting regional Product & Innovation, Services, Marketing, Digital partnership, New Payment Platforms groups as finance business partner
• Drives the process improvement initiatives related to budgeting, forecasting, systems and other key areas; proactively improves upon efficiencies and streamlines the overarching process
• Responsible for the FP&A center of Excellence based in India
• Manages a team, conducts goal setting and performance appraisal processes, coaches and develops employees as an organizational resourceExperiences
• Track record building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the diverse needs and objectives of various stakeholders
• Extensive experience modelling and performing predictive analytics to critically review and enhance complex financial and operational analysis and scenarios
• Managed a diverse, multi-functional finance organization
• Called upon to consult and provide advice and feedback to the business on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging advanced analytical techniques as well as knowledge of outside trends and events
• Experience setting strategy for process improvement initiatives along with developing procedures for implementation
• Demonstrated successful oversight of the management and resolution of high-risk issues to ensure completeness and efficiency
