For our office in Nottingham we are currently looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst Position Highlight: Treasury Analyst shall bring an extreme focus on results, innovation, and a high service orientation. The candidate is expected to work well in a changing and continuous improvement environment. The Treasury Analyst will directly report to the International Treasury Director and will be responsible for global treasury management activities including global banking structure, daily cash positioning and liquidity management for the global notional cash pool, cash planning and forecasting, regulatory reporting, and internal and external controls. How you will impact WestRock: - Provide daily cash management support for the global notional cash pool teams based in Geneva, Switzerland and Strassen, Luxembourg and other treasury teams in U.S., Brazil, and India - Work closely with corporate banking and cash management service providers on an ongoing basis to solve problems and identify value-added banking solutions - Work cross functionally on various treasury, corporate finance, tax and accounting projects - Assist in the administration of various regulatory reporting requirements, internal and external audit controls as well as KYC requests from banks - Provide support for managing the company's bank technology administration - Provide support of company liquidity through management of daily cash and debt positioning for all global bank accounts. Identify and implement activities that reduce treasury cost and expenses. Report and analyze monthly bank fees - Assist local business operating units with banking services - Adhere to all SOX controls, and self-testing for bank account control, debt, FX and derivatives - Interfacing with both the partner banks and subsidiaries. And liaising with legal firms on accounting and corporate finance issues - You will also act as full back up to essential Treasury functions to ensure the smooth and optimum running of a centralized European Treasury hub, in that respect you will assist in: - All initiatives related to enhancements in order to streamline Treasury activities in support of the overall Treasury goals and objectives - Handling investigations pertaining to bank account activity. Opening/closing/updating bank accounts as needed. Developing and administering bank account database - Maintaining orderly Sox controls - Maintaining current knowledge of the latest treasury management techniques and technology What you need to succeed: - Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, or accounting - Comfortable working with employees across the European region - Corporate treasury or banking experience including a broad range of treasury and finance skills as well as cash management or other banking experience - Working knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and willingness to learn more regarding these newly implemented and evolving rules - Self-starter who is able to prioritize issues - Sound financial judgment - Knowledge of MS Office products - Ability to work independently, with minimal daily supervision, taking ownership of your work initiatives, and meeting daily, monthly and annual requirements - Desire to develop as a professional, commitment to continuous process improvement, and maintaining knowledge of developments in the treasury and banking environments - Demonstrated ability to prepare concise, efficient analysis of financial data - The individual will need to be highly organized and have very high attention to detail - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal What we offer: - Attractive salary incentive, reflecting skills, competencies and potential - A corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence - A role in which you can prove and further develop your skills - Work in a multinational context To apply please visit our website via the link.
