Purpose of Role: Manage the production and review of all divisional management reporting and financial analysis, budgeting and planning activities. Support the Head of FP&A and wider team, where required, on commercial decision making and projects. Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Responsibilities:
Production and review of Profit and Cost Centre reporting and financial analysis. Including preparation of the DD monthly management accounts and delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reporting with supporting commentary. Preparation of monthly board level commentary, including a summary of the Group's performance, analysis on revenue/profit trends, KPI reporting and the outlook for the financial year, considering both internal and external data. Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process and the production of the divisional 5-year strategic plan and long-range financial modelling (including cashflow and balance sheet) Manage the divisional BI/MI strategy in conjunction with IT including systems and database design and the management ownership of TM1 Provide & Facilitate a best-in-class Business Partnering approach to stakeholders, providing insight and analysis on trends, collating forecast risks and opportunities Preparation of regular and ad-hoc analysis, reporting and presentations for the Head of FP&A. As well as the FD, DD Board and Group Board where required. Support on commercial decision making and appraisal and modelling of projects and investments. Working directly with the Head of FP&A to present the Monthly/Quarterly results as well as brief them on key matters relating to the close or related analysis Ensure all reporting and information is in line with accounting standards and work with the company's auditors Accountabilities Manage & Support the FP&A team and instil a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure robust, timely, accurate, insightful reporting and analysis is provided to stakeholders, DD SLT, DD Board and Group finance and in line with accounting standards Aid finance in new systems roll out and ongoing development Identify and manage business risks and issues with escalation to the Head 0f FP&A and other management as appropriate Qualifications and experience Qualified Accountant Strong understanding of accounting concepts and applications. Experience of data warehouse concepts, BI tools and dashboards Significant experience in a "data-rich" environment and business partnering at senior level Highly analytical, able to simplify complexity and work with all levels in an organisation Advanced Excel skills required, and experience of TM1 desirable Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to both understand the big picture and be detail-oriented. Ability to challenge management thinking and work in partnership to improve the business. Able to work in a fast-paced organisation and respond to needs with urgency. Ability to Mentor and nurture subordinates to a better way of working. Standard Company Requirements To comply with all Health and Safety requirements as outlined by the Health and Safety Executive and business. To comply with the guidelines of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to maintain an awareness and understanding of regulations that apply to the post. Where the role includes any task relating to the purchasing, storage or sales of medicines, an understanding of the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) is required. At all times the post-holder should act in a way that supports the Company in maintaining its essential licences and certifications. Training is undertaken as recommended by your Manager.
