Billing Specialist Belfast The Role Abacus temporary staffing are delighted to be assisting our client, an award-winning employer within NI seeks to appoint an experienced billing specialist to join their specialist based in their head office in Belfast city centre. As the billing specialist you will join a small team of highly experienced billing administrators who work toward tight timescales and provide accurate and timely bills to customers throughout Northern Ireland and adhere to set SLA's. You will work closely with other internal departments in order to resolve any billing queries that may come to light. You will work with a variety of customers form large commercial clients, contract customers and residential customers and therefore must be highly organised and have experience working within a billing department or customer account team. You will be responsible for undertaking the following duties: Ensuring accurate and timely routine billing, and all associated processes for all domestic, commercial and large contract customers according to billing schedules and in line with all policies & procedures, SLA's, Codes of Practice and applicable licence requirements. Manage Debt Recovery communications in accordance with recovery paths. Ensure to run daily reports that will provide you with your daily tasks such as re-billing of customer accounts and managing any escalated billing queries from other departments. Management of shared mailboxes and ensure that all queries are responded to. Point of escalation for internal departments, customers or other 3rd parties to assist in dealing with complex billing queries or complaints. Update and manage multiple CRM systems and complex databases Proactively engage with other internal departments to fulfil all billing requirements, resolve queries, drive improvements, and ensure all SLA's and objectives are delivered as required.
