Finance Analyst

Salary:
£40,000-£45,000, depending on experience Hours of Work: hours per week About the Company: Our client has big plans for their business, and they need a razor-sharp finance analyst who can help them to achieve them. Someone who can assess and plan for strategic investments while maximising commercial return on their operations. In this role, you will be supporting the senior management team, providing financial analysis and insight to enable strategic and operational decisions. Finance Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Providing regular budget and forecasting management accounting reports as well as tailored reports to assist strategic and operational decision making
• Proactively analysing company data to highlight trends, opportunities and threats
• Analysing capital expenditure items, ensuring full value is gained and risks have been mitigated and understood
• Create monthly, weekly and daily metrics for KPIs
• Recommending and implementing changes to the reporting system in order to best leverage value from the company's data
• Using your skills to challenge the thinking of senior managers and influence the strategic direction of the company Finance Analyst Requirements: 3 years experience in a similar role or have an accountancy qualification (or currently studying towards) Excellent Excel skills and experience of modelling using excel or Power BI Strong analytical mind, a keen problem solver and ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement Ability and willingness to both challenge and support colleagues Previous experience in the hospitality sector (Desirable) Proven experience of working with stakeholders across multiple locations (Desirable) Finance Analyst Benefits:
