Credit Control Manager This is an exciting opportunity for a senior credit controller to move into a thriving business that was established over 150 years ago. Our Client is looking for a diligent credit manager to join a small finance team and be solely responsible for clearing outstanding business to consumer debt. Main Responsibilities - Generate fee and sundries invoices - Manage and maintain premiums, remissions and advance fees - Manage direct debit mandates, generate collections files - Communicate via telephone and email with consumers - Debt chasing and management of legal process for fees collection where required - Reconciliation of general ledger fees accounts - Month and year end procedures and reporting - Provide cover as required in the department for various administrative duties Experience required - Experience in an accounts office and understanding of double entry bookkeeping - Experience of sales ledger / credit control or similar function preferred - Competence in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Outlook and Word - Good standard of general education - Use of Sage 200 ledger system or similar Personal qualities - Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships - Excellent telephone manner and communication skills - Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Resilient and capable of working under pressure - Well organised, with a proven track record for meeting targets and deadlines - A selfstarter who can also work as part of a team - Tactful and discreet whilst mindful of observing Safeguarding and professional standards Benefits - Salary £25,000 to £33,000 - 24 days holiday per year. - Beautiful working environment - Free parking - Working Hours 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday If the above role is of interest, please click the link below for further details.
