Corporate Finance Manager Thame, Oxfordshire £50,000 car bonus bens About the Role: Based in Thame Oxfordshire, my client, a growing PE backed international business, is looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant as a Corporate Finance Manager. The company is going through a sustained period of growth both organic and through acquisition following significant PE investment and has plans to become the leading presence in their market. The Corporate Finance Manager will have a key role in the Group Finance team and directly support the Group's acquisition strategy. Main responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Manager: Financial support on acquisition targets, including initial scoping, due diligence, analysis of current accounting policies and procedures. Support during the sale process, including working closely with external consultants, lawyers, and banking agent as required to ensure a smooth transaction. Post acquisition business integration, working with internal systems support and local finance teams. Review of completion accounts post sale in a timely manner. Preparation of acquisition accounting entries to ensure they are captured accurately in regional and Group reporting. Designing and developing business analytics within the Finance function by using regional data points to understand trends and provide further analysis to Board which will directly drive business investment decisions. Provide support to the Group Finance team during the budgeting/forecasting cycles and the year-end external audit and statutory account preparation/review process. The Ideal candidate for the Corporate Finance Manager: Practice trained Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong academic record. Ideally experience in corporate finance/M&A or a strong desire to gain experience in these areas. Strong technical accounting knowledge, experience of preparation and review of Group Consolidated Financial Statements (including a good understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS). Developed IT skills with experience using Excel and the ability to write and develop reports. Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels both externally and within the business. Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
