My client is a well established firm based in Coalville They are now seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join their team on a full time, permanent basis Hours: 08.30 - 16.30, Monday - Friday Job Purpose To provide management information that is both accurate and timely. The data must be presented in the correct format and transferred to the customer in an appropriate manner ensuring data security. An in-depth understanding of the contracts and consequent business needs is crucial. Positive customer relations are also key to maintaining contractual relationships within the business. Key Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring data issued to customers is accurate and timely, and the root cause of any discrepancies is investigated and corrected where appropriate steps can be taken To attend meetings with customers to discuss any management information issues/queries/reports Building relationships with customers to aid in invoice dispute resolutions, where necessary To oversee data corrections and manage the changes with IT To ensure reports are issued on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to strict contractual deadlines ensuring data security at all times To provide any ad-hoc reports to both internal and external stakeholders Analyse the performance of each contract and discuss with contract managers to aid financial and operational improvement Work closely with I.T. to identify potential system issues and opportunities To design and implement specifications for new reports that are required Additional Responsibilities Assistance in internal audit procedures where appropriate To create and post into SAP any invoices/credit notes to the customer for activity/management fee/rebates Support the development of dashboards within our BI reporting tool, Qliksense Other adhoc requests Note: this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities/duties associated with this role. The post holder is expected to undertake other duties from time to time. Essential Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Good numeracy and literacy skills Previous experience manipulating large volumes of data Experience solving queries and meeting deadlines Non essential/preferred Qualifications A background in accountancy is desirable although not essential Experience using Microsoft Access Experience building dashboards within a BI Software Knowledge of Qlikview or Qliksense would be advantageous Key Attributes Strong interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Strong customer focus Ability to organise and prioritise own workload In return we offer you the following: A chance to work as part of a great team doing a rewarding job Competitive salary and benefits package such as pension, discounts and offers Enhanced holiday of 33 days per year (inc banks) which increases with service up to 38 days per year (inc banks) Participation in our employee recognition scheme
