Ref: ARC/283 Role: Credit Analyst (Underwriter)

Oxford Status: Permanent Global organisation with its headquarters in Oxford, is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with underwriting skills, to join its team in a permanent role. Reporting to the Credit Risk Manager, the role will be to support and maximise profitable sales through the implementation and maintenance of an effective International credit risk assessment function, thereby optimising the asset base in line with profit and cash flow objectives. This will involve working across International environment preparing credit line reviews and will involve the following: Providing a details credit risk assessment through the evaluation of financial statements, credit reports, management accounts, operational performance, security and any other relevant factors in evaluation credit proposals and establishing credit facilities to support objectives and promote profitable sales whilst ensuring an acceptable level of reward against risks taken. You must have a minimum of 2 years' credit underwriting experience in asset finance and have the ability to work in an International environment. Another European language other than English would be desirable along with previous experience of SAP and advanced Excel skills and an awareness of the automotive market and knowledge of International Trade documentation. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are essential for this position along with a positive attitude and commercial acumen.
