Salary:
£11.00 to £12.50 per hour Hours per week: 18 to 20 Job Purpose: To manage, process and accurately complete all Internal / External Finance & Payroll Functions within the Business. Ensuring a timely and efficient service is provided to the company Director, Internal Colleagues and external candidates / clients of the business. Job Description: Managing day to day accounts processing Managing internal and external payroll through to completion - both weekly & monthly Credit Control duties, ensuring all clients are paying within their agreed payment terms Setting credit limits on customer accounts, ensuring NO clients exceed their individual Credit Limits Misc. sales invoicing Some supplier invoice processing and payments to suppliers Processing bank, cheque and cash transactions Processing monthly journals and postings to general ledger Month end accruals and prepayments Preparation of the monthly sales reports and loan information Preparation of monthly management accounts, margins and payroll analysis Day to day cash flow management Misc. payments incl. IR, pension, PAYE and monthly expenses Preparation of VAT, P11d's, P45's and Companies House Filing Managing company pension scheme Personal Specification: Excellent Attention to Detail Able to work towards strict deadlines ensuring all work in completed in an efficient and timely manner Excellent numeracy skills Able to prioritise a busy work load at one time Intermediate level of Word, Excel and SAGE 50 is essential Experience of using system 'ENTERPRISE' is highly advantageous, however training will be provided Part qualified/experienced Accountant and / or Payroll Assistant with good costing experience Proactive and self-motivated Benefits Holiday - 21 days per year rising by 1 day per full Calendar year worked to a max of 25 days Ad-hoc quarterly incentives as outlined by the Managing Director Company Pension Scheme Free Parking on-site
