Position Overview Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the Finance function. You will deliver the accurate recording of all financial transactions ensuring they are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Managing the income and expenditure of the business you will communicate effectively with other departments, present data effectively and recommend improvements. Principal Responsibilities Commercial Identify, create and maintain a suite of reports for the client account function Maintenance of Individual/Team Standard Work and process/policy implementation Oversee the daily bank balance updates and downloads of transactions Report and provide timely financial information to the Head of Finance Deputise for the Head of Finance as required Support the Head of Finance in the preparation of the financial materials for the Board of Directors Review of root cause analysis & escalation if unresolvable Monthly financial reporting Continually improve the quality and relevance of management information Ensure that the management accounts produced enable the efficient control and monitoring of the contribution made by each part of the business Cash-flow management and forecasting Be point of contact for financial accounting and reporting advice within the wider finance team Ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support the Head of Finance Teamwork Provide feedback to management of potential improvements to existing procedures and scripting Work as part of a team to achieve the departmental standards and objectives Work effectively with other departments within the Group to maintain excellent standards of service Knowledge Maintain an excellent level of understanding and knowledge of IN-SYNC Groups' products and services Take responsibility for own personal development in line with agreed performance objectives Support colleagues and team members with professional problems, working to help them to resolve any issues Background / Experience Required Background in Management Accounting (QBE or PQ) Experience of preparing concise and insightful reports Experience of managing or supervising a team with ability to coach individuals Strong, demonstrable analytical skills Hands on attitude & ability to get on with tasks with minimal supervision Lean Management & Continuous Process Improvement Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal Able to demonstrate drive and a positive approach to work Resilient and proactive with a flexible approach and strong time management skills Strong IT skills with advanced Excel
