About the Company: For over 20 years, this energy services and smart metering company has played a critical role in transforming the UK energy system. They have a current requirement for a Finance Manager to join their Cardiff based energy services finance team. The Finance Manager will assist the Financial Controller and Financial Director in oversight of all Divisional finance and accounting functions. You'll provide support in managing the finance team, overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closings and financial reporting. Job Description: Assist the FC & FD in delivery of high quality and insightful management information. Assist in completing budgeting and forecasting cycles to support, short, medium and long-term business planning. Short term cash and working capital forecasting and reporting. Play a leading role in integrating newly acquired businesses into the group, aligning all finance processes and controls. Provide business partner support to Divisional Operating Directors and senior management team. Undertake ad-hoc analysis and projects as required to further develop the success of the business segment. Support implementation of new ERP finance system and provide post go live support to wider business. Liaising with Group finance to ensure alignment and compliance with Group standards. Ensuring HMRC requirements and deadlines are met. Manage, support and guide the finance team. Key Skills / Experience required: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong academic background and strong numeracy and analytical skills. Strong Technical accounting knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders. Dynamics / SAP / AX12 system experience would be desirable. Commercially minded. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work methodically with good attention to detail.
