Purchase Ledger Supervisor Old Trafford £28,000 - £32,000 An opportunity has been created at a worldwide recognised brand for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to lead a team of 5 and support the on-going success of the firm. You will be reporting to the Finance Processing Manager and this represents an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business that has an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The role is demanding however this is an ideal time for someone to join the business and contribute to the on-going success of the business. A comprehensive job specification and person specification is available however below is a summary of the key responsibilities. Supervise the purchase ledger function, ensuring a regular review and appraisal of the function to ensure the key objectives of the department are met and necessary improvements are implemented. Appropriate involvement in any PL related projects around system improvements & implementation. Obtain bank details from new suppliers to ensure payments can be made accurately via the BACS system. Update cash books with payment runs and manual cheque payments. Oversee the process & review of weekly payment runs. Reconcile supplier accounts. Ensure time-critical payments are made without delay.
