The Senior Audit Manager is a senior level position responsible for developing and executing a robust Audit Plan, in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective of this role is to apply a comprehensive understanding of different Internal Audit standards, to direct complex audit activities for a component of the business at a regional or country level.

Responsibilities:
Deliver audit reports, Internal Audit and Regulatory issue validation and business monitoring and governance committee reportsLead reviews for all types of reviews, including the most complex, and review and approve Business Monitoring Quarterly SummariesParticipate in major business initiatives and pro-actively advise and assist the business on change initiativesImplement integrated auditing concepts and technology, and follow trends in the Audit field and adapt them for the Audit functionIdentify solutions for a variety of complex and unique control issues, utilizing complex judgement and sophisticated analytical thoughtAnalyze report findings, and recommend interventions where needed, proposing creative and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issuesPartner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate emerging issuesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 10 years of experience in a related roleRelated certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferredDemonstrated success in business, functional and people managementProven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high quality deliverables according to strict timetablesDemonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniquesConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environmentEffective negotiation skills Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred Work with the Chief Auditor to support and execute the strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring long and short-term goals, targets and budgets are set and met.Responsible for the coordination and tracking of various ongoing regional projects and deliverables. Support the EMEA Chief Auditor in discharging the UK Head of Audit / Chief Audit Executive responsibilities, including country level input to product & function risk assessments; audit universe completeness mapping; mapping of UK regulatory requirements to AEs; engagement with product and function audit teams on key audits at tollgates etc.Act as Head of Audit for Jersey; Chief Audit Executive for various UK legal entities including CUKL, CSO, CFEP and CTCL; Branch Audit Executive for CEP UK Branch.Work with the UK Senior Manager office to ensure implementation of best practices regarding the UK Senior Manager Regime such that reasonable steps can be demonstrated to have been taken by the EMEA RCA.Participate in UK and regional governance and management committees, as IA's direct representative or as delegate for the EMEA Chief Auditor when required.Support the EMEA Regional Chief Auditor in engagement with key internal business partners including Regional CEO office, members of both Governance Committees and Project Management Offices plus the EMEA Operating Committee and others as they ariseSupport regulatory relationships by providing support for regulatory engagement and examinations.
