My client is looking for a trainee accountant to join their finance team during a period of rapid growth. This Finance Assistant role will be reporting into a Finance Manager and will have high levels of business partnering with employees across their global offices.

This exciting business are one of the fastest growing companies within their sector. Their head accountancy office is based in the City of London near Farringdon.

Description

As the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist the Finance Manager and Group Accountant with the preparation of management accounts for the Group, including:

• Preparation of journal entries

• Preparation of bank reconciliations

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Profit and loss account analysis

• Review of expense and credit card claims

• Assist the Finance Manager in dealing with audit and due diligence queries

• Assisting the accounts payable, accounts receivable and international payroll teams as required

• Provide ad-hoc general accounting assistance to the Finance Manager and wider financial control team

Profile

To be considered for this Finance Assistant role you must have the following:

• Strong academic background (essential)
• Experience working within a finance role (essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)
• Degree from a reputable university (highly desirable)
