Management Accountant

Highly successful international business in Colchester, Essex are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their business.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director the Management Accountant will have responsibility for the supervision and development of a small finance team responsible for; accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, cost reconciliation,nominal ledger and inter company accounting, bank reconciliations, expenses, trial balance, accruals and prepayments. The Management Accountant will be responsible for the production of the financial statements and monthly management accounts working within the reporting timetable and format.
Working closely with the Finance Director the Management Accountant will help drive continuous review and development of processes, controls, systems and reporting to drive efficiency and quality. They will also assist the Finance Director and Managing Director with financial aspects of new business opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
The Management Accountant will be a qualified accountant or finalist, with good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and strong analytical & IT skills. They will be enthusiastic and eager to further develop their technical, business and people management skills.
