Head of Finance for an international charity based in Bristol

Your new company
Hays are currently working with a Bristol based Charity to recruit a new Head of Finance on a permanent basis. Having transformed the lives of people for nearly 30 years this company are now looking to bring a senior finance professional to help shape the future of its organisation.

Your new role
Reporting into the Chief Exec you will support the business and its finance function both here in the UK but also overseas. You will support and advise the management team with strategic decision making through maintaining an up to date knowledge of the financial climate along with implanting any financial strategy through any period of change. You will develop and maintain a sustainable and reliable system that will allow the business to comply with all legislation but also ensure that best practice is followed. This is an opportunity to play an active role alongside the Senior Management, leading on the strategic director of an international charity.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a fully qualified finance professional that work well with the senior management team. Ideally you will have operated at a similar level with a proven ability to work with complex financial systems. Prior experience of working in a charity is not essential although knowledge the international development sector would be advantageous.
