Group Accountant

Your new company
A forward thinking, high performing team in Bath are seeking a Group Accountant to provide financial advice and financial management whilst ensuring appropriate financial processes and controls are in place.


Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: professional financial advice and information to support the development of budgets/ financial plans/ project plans, prepare and monitor the annual budget, interpret, analyse and appraise business trends, contribute to specific project teams and where necessary
and provide leadership and direction to the finance team.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have a full professional accountancy qualification with proven experience in commercial accounting, supervising a team, excellent communication skills and be able to work accurately under pressure and to perform to tight deadlines.
