Why this role matters The Group FP&A team brings together the forecasts and budgets from the Customer Facing Units (CFU) and Cost Units (CUs) and reports these to the Group CFO, ExCo and Board for approval. This is ultimately used to guide the external market about the future direction of the Company via investor relations. What you'll be doing Maintain the monthly and quarterly Outlook process, understanding the key R&Os and consolidating the financial impact. Manage the quarterly MTO (Medium Term Outlooks) process ran in Anaplan, consolidate and reconcile Performs top level analytical reviews and gain understanding of the Units and Group budget and forecasts. Assist in aligning internal trading, dealing with disputes, including setting up unaligned internal trade calls during a forecast process. Provide financial outlooks and insight to investor relations and external reporting. Understand complex issues, providing support to units to ensure they are appropriately resolved and any impacts are clearly understood. Improve the consistency of unit submissions into Group and our approach to collecting data Perform analysis of the costs that the CFU s are budgeting or forecasting for, and be able to provide challenge and insight to this based on your understanding of the volume trends. Top level analysis of unit inputs for monthly outlooks, Quarterly MTO and the annual MTP We'll also need to see these on your CV Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate the analysis in a simple way Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel) Ability to identify risks and develop plans to mitigate these risks to an acceptable level Anaplan or SAP knowledge welcome but not essential as training will be given Why choose us?
