Act as the main liaison between site/GFS/CoE/PGS on questions/issues relating to financial systems or processes for assigned BU and LE Perform ad hoc support as required. Perform Project Lead role on partnering with various functions within the organization to drive continuous improvements. Represent Centre of Excellence (APAC) in Global Process Teams and to lead/participate in standardisation of processes across regions Provide SME guidance to GMF CoE in at least one or more process areas Assume ownership and provide guidance for the cluster of markets under your scope in addition to providing support to fellow colleagues within cluster to resolve issues pertaining to the below process areas Capital Co-ordinates Impairment Reviews with the site leadership teams Co-ordinates asset verification with the site teams Engages directly with engineering and related stakeholders on the sites Conducts regular review meeting with the site project engineers for the construction work in progress, prepare CIP metrics, monitors and resolves issues Fixed asset tagging and count (Tuas site) Compliance Supports compliance activities relating to RCM & SOP updates Supports Internal / External Audit for PGS sites Supports FCPA compliance across the PGS sites from a finance perspective Prepares ASL Annual Review for approval Supports system Access Review processes Drafts the Quarterly Control Questionnaires Monitors GFS Invoices on Hold and reports same to site leadership teams. Month End Close Processes Processes month end processes including deferrals, VEMP, interco entries, EAMS reconciliation Validates PPV results Works closely with Procurement to ensure alignment on PPV reporting and forecasting Ensures all reconciliations submitted to Cadency for approval within the required timeframe. Manage the accounting operations including month end accruals, monthly review and variance analysis of expenses for various business units (BU). Close monitoring and follow up on financial related matters relating to various BUs and legal entities (LE). Reporting Complete Balance Sheet commentaries at quarter end as required Reconciles local results with Hyperion Performs review of draft spend reports at month end. Partners directly with customers for any specific queries. Completes balance sheet reconciliations of accruals and prepayments Manages all restructuring financial processes and reporting. Works directly with the relevant site stakeholders to process any manual accruals required Performs value add analytical review of spend and trends. Tracking and analysis of markup in inventory. Prepare and submit GMX reports. Others Prepares inputs to the sites forecast templates with the actual results year to date and the projected rest of year result for spend and PPV. Collaborates closely with the site based finance colleague on projections. Tracks changes to forecast and actual versus forecast for spend and PPV Submits the forecasts for spend enabling functions and restructuring.
