Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Barnsley for an Accounts Payable Assistant. The ideal candidate will be efficient at processing invoices, be able to fit in as part of a large finance function and be able to take ownership of their work. Main

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all invoices are correct and matched to purchase order - Ensure all invoices are registered on the bespoke system - Prepare payment runs - Assist with month-end close - Liaise with other departments to ensure correct coding of invoices - Ensure correct VAT treatment of invoices Key Requirements: - A-C at GCSE Maths and English - AAT L2 or higher - Experience in accounts payable essential - Willing to learn - Good communication skills are a must This role offers a great opportunity to join a highly professional and forward-thinking business.
