Assistant Management Accountant (up to 35k) Brilliant, permanent role just landed on my desk for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant. The role is Peterborough based and sits with one of the well established manufacturing business, present in this area for over 30 years In order to take part in this recruitment process you must be part qualified ACCA or CIMA with proven management accounting experience. Your Excel skills should be on advance level and if you would have an experience working with Microsoft Dynamics it would be a great asset. You are definite self-starter with an ability to manage the workload individually if required. Experience from manufacturing industry is advantageous. You will also be fully capable of demonstrating the following duties: Preparation of individual monthly management accounts for the various business units, along with the preparation of consolidated accounts Preparation of monthly Balance Sheets and preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts for submission to external funders Maintenance of the Company's Fixed Asset Register Responsibility for the reconciliation of the stock module in the Company's ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX) to the General Ledger Responsibility for various Balance Sheet reconciliation's with an emphasis on Accruals and Prepayments Responsibility for various inter-company reconciliation's Management of Exchange Rates in the Company's ERP system Responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger in the Company's ERP system Reconciliation of sales to the General Ledger on a monthly basis Preparation and submission of a number of VAT returns for various overseas jurisdictions and for submission of EC sales lists as required Assistance with the Company's annual audit The company values your experience and knowledge more than anything, therefore on top of the attractive base salary they are also willing to offer the following benefits: Pension scheme available after 3 months of employment Generous Health Care scheme paid for all employees and the option to add partner and/or children on salary sacrifice Shopping Rewards 25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays Christmas Shut-down - annual leave to be reserved Social events arranged regularly and well attended The opportunity to be involved in the work we do with various charities and support with fund-raising Refer a friend scheme Company Suggestion Scheme Long Service awards - including additional holiday Death In Service scheme from day one of employment Sounds like a brilliant place to work?
