A rapidly expanding company who have recently grown through acquisitions and natural growth are looking to appoint a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager. You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller and have 7 accounts payable assistants as direct reports. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the payables function and ensure your team runs effectively. This will include conducting monthly one to ones with your staff and setting development plans where required to ensure they are working to their full potential. You will also be the senior point of contact within the team for any complex queries and issues and have a hands-on approach to running payments, managing a small ledger and training/up-skilling staff. You will have previous experience managing an Accounts Payable function in order to add value to this team with both technical knowledge and supervisory experience. You will also be a good team player and have the adaptability to change with the ever-growing business.
