My client is a rapidly growing outsource provider who are recruiting for a Credit Controller to be based within Peterborough on a 12 month fixed term contract, this role comes with both the option of part time and full time opportunities. Role Responsibilities of Credit Controller; Billing and collection of revenue. Sales Ledger Posting and allocating receipts and generating monthly direct debit collection files. Issuing customer statements, reminder letters and chasing outstanding invoices to request payment. discussions with internal and external stakeholders Produce invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution Chase payment of late fees Agree debt collection action plan Liaise with external debt collection agency to escalate problem cases Produce direct debit collection files Produce debtor reports for management team as required Ensure that all invoice receipts are posted to the ledger accurately and timely Person Specification; Experience of working in a highly demanding accounts receivable department Very good knowledge of ICT systems, particularly Excel. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to explain sensitive matters to people on a personal level especially on the telephone Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Very good attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
