Global Liquidity Management (GLM) is an independent function responsible for the handling and reporting of the businesses exposure to potential liquidity and cash outflows over a period of time. Our team maintains primary responsibility for EMEA liquidity regulatory reporting deliverables, and also provides critical global support for other regions to optimize global delivery timelines. You will gain a deep knowledge of, and exposure to, global LRR as well as management reporting deliverables for certain EMEA-based legal entities. In addition to working with key business partners within GLM, you will work closely with other control partners across Corporate Treasury, Compliance and Risk. Role Description: Joining as a Financial Analyst in the Liquidity reporting team, you will have opportunities to get involved in:
• Daily Reporting of Liquidity metrics, including analysis and investigation of moves.
• Preparing weekly and monthly regulatory reports for submission to the regulator.
• Becoming a Subject Matter Expert for a product; taking ownership of your own area.
• Liaising with internal colleagues and external auditors to streamline reporting and ensure resolution of issues.
• Project work - involving a wide scope of possibilities:
• Ad-hoc requests from Internal/External partners across the business.
• Independence to creatively design, build, and improve your processes Qualifications:
• Good academic profile with a 2:1 degree or equivalent
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA part or qualified accountant Skills:
• IT literate, including good excel skills
• Self-motivated with strong team work and communication skills
• The ability to analyse and present data in a clear and concise format Competencies:
• Investment banking or accountancy experience
• Basic understanding of investment banking products
