Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner on behalf of a fabulous organisation in Scunthorpe. The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive financial management, costing and advisory service to the team of Finance Business Partners. Duties will include: - Provide the Finance Business Partners with financial management information in relation to the business' requirements by means of preparing journals for accruals and pre-payments, journals for wages & salaries and other regular journals as necessary and performing ad-hoc cost analysis as and when requested. - Enable the Finance Business Partners to meet the deadlines of the business by proactively prioritising their workload to facilitate the work required and to develop and maintain a month-end task list, ticking off as each task is complete. - Shadow each Finance Business Partner to develop their own career by gaining a broad understanding of the entire group. - Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts pack in order to speed up production and also to gain insightful knowledge of the full business. - Deal with requests for transactional information from our external auditors, under direction of the respective Finance Business Partner as and when required. - Assist in the production of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by providing help and assistance in pulling together information provided by the Finance Business Partner. - Assist in the creation, maintenance and documentation of any schedule of long term, annual agreement, ensuring these reconcile back to any control account.
