A well-known and commercially minded Housing Association is currently looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant on a 4 month temporary basis. This award winning housing association is very influential, its aim being to provide homes and support to the young and old across East London. The role will include: Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts with commentary within agreed time cycles Analysing the management accounts and investigating any discrepancies, providing ad hoc reporting Month end responsibilities, posting accruals and prepayments Liaising with various stakeholders, resolving any queries they may have Lead responsibility for the annual staffing budget The successful candidate: A part-qualified accountant Its essential that you have experience working within the social housing sector Someone with strong analytical skills Confident with assisting with budgeting and forecasting An advanced user of Excel
