Payroll Specialist - Chartered Accountants We have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in the Bolton area. The role will be an initial six-month maternity cover contract with the view to going potentially permanent on completion. The ideal candidate will have previous chartered accountancy practice experience and they must have experience using Peagsus in a former role. The post holder shall be joining a team of two other payroll staff within a practice made up of thirty staff. Within the role the successful shall be processing payroll from start to finish on basis for monthly and weekly staff in a multitude of businesses within the local area. As a payroll specialist you will have the responsibility of processing SMP and SSP. Responsibilities / Skills required: Processing the payroll from start to finish on a sole basis for monthly and weekly staff Process SMP & SSP New starter payroll administration Leaver payroll administration Input of all temporary payroll data Pensions auto-enrolment Dealing with queries Assist in the preparation of monthly reports Absence administration Answer queries from employees Using Excel daily - vlookups and pivot tables required Previous experience of processing the payroll from start to finish from a chartered accountants or payroll bureau Previous or currently using Pegasus - Client - CV Screen is recruiting for a leading organisation who have a strong brand within their sector and offer great career prospects. Salary / Benefits: £26,000 - 28,000 pro rata to £12,500 - 14,000 for a six month contract Working hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
