Anderson Knight are recruiting for a Financial Controller on a part time basis based in the West Lothian area. Our client is a prestigious charity who is looking to expand their organisation hence the creation of this role. Reporting into the General Manager, the main focus of the role is to take full ownership of the finance function, overseeing all financial systems and activity. The main responsibilities the Financial Controller position entails are: Lead, develop and manage the Finance and Systems Team Create financial budgeting and forecasting models Ensure all accounting activity complies with relevant financial regulations Accountable to the internal and external auditors Responsible for payroll activity, sales and purchase invoicing processing The ideal candidate will possess the following: Fully Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet tight financial deadlines Excellent problem solving skills Sound knowledge of excel including pivot tables In return you will work for an organisation that supports a great cause and offers a fantastic work/life balance.
