iMultiply are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Finance Project Partner based in Fife. The Company This business has rapidly expanded within the past 12 months, mainly as a result of a very sizeable and impressive acquisition. The company do harbour plans to expand further, however its essential the integration and consolidation of the acquisition is successful to provide an excellent platform for further growth. The Role The finance function and Financial Controller have identified a number of key projects which include: Streamlining and introducing new processes, procedures, controls & systems Creating consistency and templates through-out each department Value add initiatives to reduce costs, improve margins, reviewing contractual agreements (new and renewals) to positively impact the bottom-line. With the BAU finance team already at full capacity, the business is no longer willing to just stick a plaster over issues as a temporary solution, so it has sanctioned a new permanent hire to establish the route cause and dramatically impact its commercial standing. On Offer The position of Finance Project Partner will offer a salary of £43,000 - £49,000 plus a strong benefits package. The offices are based close to Roysth in Fife. You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties: Reporting to the Financial Controller Presentation to the leadership team of proposed projects, projects costs, timescales from execution to completion and project status updates Leading on a number of high value and business critical projects Business partnering with senior stakeholders including executive and leadership teams Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls and systems KPI setting and reporting Weekly and monthly flash reporting Regular and adhoc analysis & reporting Setting and challenging budgets with Departmental Heads Liaising with BAU finance Developing teams and departments to create action plans, manuals and design training programmes Adhoc duties To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience: Qualified Accountant, qualified by experience will be considered with exceptional practical experience Project or process improvement experience Exposure to a highly commercial environment such as engineering, oil & gas, manufacturing, construction etc. Strong stakeholder management exposure Proficient user of Excel Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Please do not hesitate to contact John Gilbertson for a private & confidential discussion.
