Our client is an established business that is experiencing positive change at the moment which has created an interesting and exciting opportunity for someone to join their finance team on a six month contract. Working closely with the Finance Manager your role will be varied and requires someone who is hands-on in their approach and who will get in to the information. Duties will include; Review balance sheets and putting in place improvements where appropriate Ensuring all the relevant documentation is in place and liaising with the general ledger accountant Working closely with AP and Credit Control functions and reviewing their processes and accounts and putting in place recommendations for improvements Ad hoc project work Working closely with all members of the finance team and communicating in plain terms as required The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be happy to roll their sleeves up and will have excellent IT skills. Experience of JD Edwards and or SAP would be distinctly advantageous This role requires someone who will be able to start a role pretty much immediately and will commit to the 6 month duration.
