Accounts Assistant - Immediate Start 12 months FTC

Manchester city centre A well known and instantly recognisable company based in the heart of Manchester city centre are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12 month contract. This company continue to go from strength to strength and are one of the market leaders in their industry. Opportunities will come up for the ideal candidate to join the business on a permanent basis once the contract is complete. Your role will be purchase ledger focused to begin with, with more variety being offered as you settle into the role: Processing a high volume of purchase invoices Weekly payment runs Supplier statement reconciliations Assist with sales ledger when required Posting journals Assist with month-end Bank reconciliations Dealing with customer queries Ideal candidate: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role Prior experience working in a large, fast paced environment Immediately available or on a short notice period Free parking is available along with some excellent benefits.
