Luton Duration: 3 months Contract rate: £152 per day PAYE rate: £120 per day (£39,520 equivalent per annum) Start Date: IMMEDIATE START Overview of the Accounts Payable Assistant Manager Regional Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a TOP 100 FTSE company looking for an experienced Assistant Manager in an Accounts Payable environment. Our client is a global travel company looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting the team through a period of change. This is a really interesting role and will offer the successful applicant the chance to gain a broad understanding of an important part of the business. Reporting directly to the AP Travel Accounting & Employee Expenses Manager, you will manage a team of direct reports in a fast paced, dynamic workload to ensure priorities are understood and met. The Successful Accounts Payable Assistant Manager will be responsible for: Monitoring what the team is doing day to day - daily updates and workload Picking up queries, delegating and following up with team Ensuring any requirements requested to be looked at that are delegated and responded to, again with follow up to ensure dealt with in a timely manner Ensuring team time is used wisely Day to day updates and progress checks Driving team efficiency's Able to push the team Organised Analytical, problem solving activities Team are able to self solve but role requires someone to provide support for escalations The Successful Accounts Payable Assistant Manager will possess the following Knowledge, skills, experience and competencies Excellent interpersonal/communication skills - communicate with real confidence and flair with the ability to influence at a high level including senior stakeholders, and needs to build effective working relationships across all sectors of the business. Proven experience of managing and developing a multi-disciplined team including day-to-day operations and improvement projects Highly motivated, with the confidence and ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent organisational skills - able to work to tight deadlines and co-ordinate the work of others Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong attention to detail Strong Excel skills How to Apply for the Accounts Payable Assistant Manager The first stage of the application process is to apply online.
