The Role The Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the Risk Manager(s), UK Risk Director and Strategic Risk and ERM Regulatory Requirements Director in conducting all risk management activities within the agreed ERM Function plan (s). The Risk Analyst will work closely with the business and other corporate functions to support the embedding of risk management practices in the organisation. Part of the wider Enterprise Risk Management Function, this role reports to the UK Risk Director. Assist with the maintenance of all Risk and Control Assessments for lines of business and corporate functions Collate data to support the production of relevant risk reporting Assist with the production of relevant risk reporting and risk dashboards on a regular basis. Assist in the review of key controls self-assessment performed by the business Support risk assessments of new products and/or initiatives Perform desktop market research to support the emerging risk process market scanning Maintain the risk and control libraries Support the risk incident process, working with business and other corporate functions Support the Risk team with minutes of meetings and development of action logs. The Requirements Educated to degree level or equivalent and a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous Experience in similar position, preferably in the insurance sector, is desirable Some knowledge of risk management processes Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Highly organised and comfortable working autonomously Equal opportunity employer
