D & P Recruitment Ltd have been selected to recruit for a highly competent and analytical Financial Controller for this rapidly expanding Company with its portfolio of SME's each fulfilling various service sector contracts. You will have responsibility for all aspects of the finance function. This will include: Management of one other accounts person Responsibility for all accounting, payroll, payments and statutory submissions, monthly and annually Ensuring that there are effective financial controls in operation Budgeting, forecasting and reporting to the board Working closely with the MD to implement and improve the current growth strategy and provide business support with regard to cutting costs, managing contracts and maximising profits You: The successful candidate will be fully qualified ACCA, ACCA & CIMA and have previous experience working as a Financial Controller Preferably you will have come up the ranks through an accountancy practice and then moved into the private sector, with sound experience of working as a Financial Controller within either a multi-site/multi-contract environment. You will need to know and be able to talk around your numbers and withstand very robust Q&A sessions at monthly board meetings in order to inform and retain the company's investors, who also sit on the board.
