Based in Shoreditch, the heart of London's startup scene, they are looking to hire an Assistant Finacial Controller. They will look to hire someone who is qualified but would possibly consider a part qualified individual who would work up into this position. The salary will vary depending on experience and if you are part qualified, full training will be provided. The job responsibilities are as follows: Managing a client portfolio for a diverse range of tech start ups providing an excellent, proactive services for the seed to venture backed portfolio. Manage monthly management accounts, VAT, PAYE, CT600 delivery, and provides interim CFO support to small portfolio of clients Supervises monthly accounting month end close ensuring junior staff members (3) deliver Prepares statutory annual accounts for filing and returns to company house and is technically proficient Takes pro active role in improving information and procedures Liaise with legal advisors over any fund raising issues and ensure procedures are met Onboarding clients to ensure the customer onboarding journey is seamless increasing client retention and relationships Some client services include professional clearance and monitoring response times Benefits include: 30 days holiday ( public holidays on top) Flexible working Pension contributions Fully stocked fridge Shiny new Macbook Air Perk box scheme Personal Development plan We look forward to hearing from you.
